Ots Sunrise Farm, what's not to love! We have been at Ots Sunrise Farm for twoyears now and we absolutely love it. We especially like the big grassy pastures for the horses to graze and frolic in. The barns are spacious and kept in pristine condition. There are groomed trails all around the farm for leisurely trail rides. Even on busier days we never feel crowded because there are so many great riding options. Our favorite is the huge outdoor jumping arena surrounded by beautiful landscaping. However, despite all this our most favorite thing about Ots Sunrise Farm is the friendly staff boarders. Wilma, the head trainer has been a great help to us with lessons and horse training. She is always available if we have a problem or question. We can strongly recommend Ots Sunrise Farm to any horse lover out there!

"I absolutely love the beautifully manicured and maintained miles of trails and acreage to work my gaited Rocky Mountain trail horse. The fields, hills, woods and pond areas to ride through exposes my mare to being out in the open, to multiple wildlife and is perfect for gaiting in the flat open stretches,as well as working on trail manners. The views are incredible and a little slice of heaven here on Earth. We also love the wonderful indoor and outdoor arenas and grassy pastures, as well as the quality grain and hay. Ots Sunrise Farms is not just for dressage riders and we love the facilities as trail riders!"

I was one of the original boarders when Ots' Sunrise Farms opened to public boarding in February 2010. My two horses are in their 20s and have received great care. To keep them entertained and in shape, we casually ride around the facility's many trails & in the outdoor arenas (they have both a dressage & jumping arena, as well as a large indoor arena). Sometimes we ride with others or go by ourselves. It's so relaxing & fun. And at times it's an adventure when we see other animals along the way. I am amazed at the talented riders/horses that are boarding there. Everyone enjoys their time there and we all get along because of the love of animals... it's our horse family, a community. The staff is dedicated to the safety & health of the horses as well as keeping the farm clean & beautifully landscaped. My horses are priceless to me & they are cared for as if they were their own. If I ever need anything, the staff is friendly & accomodating. The only thing I can think of, that I don't like.... the flies. (But they're everywhere.) And seriously, there's no where else I would rather be. My horses are happy & so am I.

"In October 2011, I took a risk and moved my 26 year old horse that has vision issues to Ots Sunrise Farm. I have owned him for 16 years and have only boarded him at two other barns. From the first day we were there, I felt at home. The facility is beautiful, the stalls are huge(mats are provided already) and are kept impeccably clean. The staff is fantastic and accommodate any request the owner has. My horse is on several supplements and these are no problem and it does not cost extra for them to feed them. In addition, the grain provided to each boarded horse is high quality, not cheap mill feed like some stables feed. There are no add on charges for taking blankets, sheets or fly masks on and off. The hay is quality grass which is grown on the premises. The staff is very generous with the amounts of hay given to each horse. Turn-out can be group or individual and the horses are outside a minimum of 6 hours and is included in the monthly board. The indoor riding arena is spacious, has upgraded footing and has plenty of natural light. There is an outdoor dressage arena which is regulation size and it too has upgraded footing. To add more security to riders, there is a huge sand arena which is fully fenced. There are miles of riding trails around the premises which has a beautiful view from the ledge above Depere. The lesson program is outstanding. Wilma Prins, the trainer, took my daughter from being not interested in horses, to being obsessed in a matter of months. There are lesson horses available which are safe for children of any age. My horse is having the time of his life. He loves the horses stalled next to him and has a turn out buddy...something he has never had ever in his entire life. To drive up and see him outside rubbing withers with his pasture mate is the best thing ever. I love it at Ots Sunrise Farm!"
